Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket


Cape Cod forms a sweeping maritime peninsula cradling tranquil Cape Cod Bay on its inner shore while facing the rolling Atlantic Ocean surf. A sprawling expanse of this coast is preserved within the Cape Cod National Seashore, renowned for pristine beaches, historic lighthouses, soaring dunes, and extensive paved cycling corridors. The offshore islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, situated just south of Cape Cod, are idyllic getaways filled with scenic bluffs, vibrant sunsets, and historic seaside villages. Central Mass.


Central Massachusetts connects scenic historic towns, revitalized industrial centers, and family-owned orchards welcoming guests for fresh orchard produce and lively autumn harvest festivals. The region stretches across the heart of the state from north to south, spanning from the Connecticut River valley at Springfield, MA eastward to the I-495 corridor near Milford and Harvard, MA.

  • The northern district, tracing along the New Hampshire border and The Mohawk Trail (Route 2) westward from Harvard to Athol, MA, is celebrated as North Central Mass. Here, gentle hills, calm lakes, and lush state forests create an ideal backdrop for day hikes at a state park or a peaceful weekend camping escape. Vibrant regional towns including Clinton, Fitchburg, Gardner, and Leominster, MA serve as centers for visual arts, education, artisan heritage, and dining.
  • The southern district follows the Mass Pike (I-90) and Route 9 from Milford, MA to Springfield, MA. Springfield and Worcester, MA represent major urban anchors offering colleges, athletic events, renowned museums of fine arts, science and athletics, alongside year-round dining. Greater Boston & Cambridge

North of Boston/Merrimack Region
